Heather E.
Lead Teacher- Jazz and Tap
Heather grew up in a dance studio, the daughter of a dance studio owner and teacher.
She happily recalls most nights at the studio with her mother learning tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip-hop, modern and ballroom dance. Once in high school, she became a lead dance teacher and the co-captain of the high school dance team. She was also a lead member of the color-guard in marching band, and an award-winning percussionist. Once in college, she majored in education with a minor in dance. She also became a member of the dance company, Orchesis, as well as T.A. for all ballroom dance classes. On weekends, she coached a high school color-guard. After graduation, she was recruited to teach for Cherry Creek School district and moved
to Colorado. She also was selected to coach the first Pom/Dance team for Cherokee Trail High School in its inaugural years. With marriage and family, her dancing days concentrated at home. Teaching her daughter, Anna, the joy of dance as soon as she could walk! Her family includes her husband Nate, Ethan (15), Connor (12) and Anna (10). When she is not teaching she loves to spend time with friends, go hiking, ride bikes as a family, watch musicals and have “girl’s nights” spent Salsa dancing!! She looks forward to sharing her love of dance and Jesus at Rez Dance this year!!

Josephine M
Lead Teacher- Sparkles and Tap
Josii has been dancing at Rez since 2018. During that time she has studied Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Pointe,
Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater, and is an active member of the Jireh team. Josii’s
favorite dance styles are Modern and Tap. Josii has several years of Musical Theater experience and has
performed in several productions including Aladdin, Singing in the Rain, Lion King, Mary Poppins, Annie,
and Shrek. Outside of dance she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, volunteering as a youth
leader for the middle school ministry at church, and making delicious coffees as a barista.
Juan C
Lead Teacher- Boys Hip Hop
Juan found his love for dance at the age of 6 and moved onto studio training soon after at the Dance Factory in Greeley for several years. After leaving the studio, he would co-found a dance group that would go on to perform for events and shows across Colorado. In high school, Juan would be recruited onto the Greeley west dance team alongside two others, as the first males in the schools history. They drove the team to a state final and then traveled to Florida to claim a nationals final position. After graduating high school, he would enroll into the University of Northern Colorado to join the Dance Alliance and be trained by Andrew Cassell for the school’s fall dance showcase. After college, he would be hired as a back up dancer and also choreograph projects such as a nation wide flash mob. Juan is a father of two beautiful girls who share his love for dance and has called Rez home for many years. After enrolling his girls into Rez dance, he joined the Lil’ Beatz team for their 2023 spring recital. He is excited to help lead the next group of boys grow in their faith and skills.
Kendra B
Lead Teacher- Sparkles, Radiant, Little Beatz, Jazz & Hip Hop
Kendra began dance at the age of 8 with her first ballet class. She continued on to do cheer from elementary on though her senior year! During this time she also trained in Jazz, Drill Team and Color Guard. At the age of 14 she began coaching an elementary cheer team and the love for teaching grew! During college she was an assistant coach for her high school Color Guard. Kendra joined Rez Dance in 2019 and began as an assistant teacher in 2020! She is passionate about teaching young dancers to express their love of Jesus through dance! Kendra resides in Evans, CO with her husband Garrett, and children Weston and Madison. In her spare time you will find Kendra baking and working on perfecting specialty flavors of cupcakes! She hopes to open a cupcake trailer in the near future.
Paige S
Lead Teacher- Jazz, Leaps and turns and Competition
Paige was born and raised in Highlands Ranch Colorado! Paige started dancing at three years old at Peak Athletics which is now known as Dance Athletics in Highlands Ranch. When she got to high-school she was lucky enough to compete on varsity all 4 years while still dancing with Peak Athletics. Paige went to Mountain Vista High School and won two state titles in the Jazz Division. After high school, she chose to go to college at the University of Northern Colorado where she is getting her degree in Early Childhood Education and is a student coach of the Sugar Bears Dance Team. Paige is about to go into her senior year and can’t wait to be in a classroom with children! Paige also just finished her first season with the National Arena League Pro Dance Team; The Colorado Spartans! Paige is so excited to be a part of Rez Dance and share her love and passion for the sport with you all!!
Taylor L
Lead Teacher- Ballet
Taylor Lucas started her dancing journey with Northern Colorado Academy of Dance Arts in Greeley, CO at the age of 5. Here, she was classically trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. In 2011, Taylor not only continued her dance education through NCADA but her and her family joined Rez Dance. At Rez Dance, Taylor became well versed in the style of Hip-Hop and quickly discovered how her passion for dance brings her and those around her closer to God. During Taylor's time at Rez Dance, she also joined the outreach company team in 2012, was the directorial intern from 2020-2022, and was lastly a part of the very first competition team within Rez Dance from 2021-2022. In 2015, Taylor was given the opportunity to teach for Rez Dance and she jumped at it! Taylor always tries to ensure that every one of her students feels loved, valued, and always motivates them to reach their highest potential. Teaching for Taylor isn't just found through dance. She is currently working to become an Early Childhood instructor at UNC and is also a substitute teacher at Windsor Charter Academy. Taylor has such a heart for dance and serving others! She cannot wait to share her love of dance with her students and to see them grow and thrive!
Thomas G
Lead Teacher- Ballet
Thomas graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. He began his dance journey at The National Dance Institute of New Mexico, followed by training at The Colorado Ballet Academy and Premier School of Dance before college. Thomas has studied and performed in a wide variety of dance styles, including ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and musical theater. His performance experience includes The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with The Colorado Ballet, along with works by André Megerdichian and the late Salvatore Aiello at CSU.
As a choreographer, Thomas has developed a growing repertoire of original pieces, establishing himself as a talented artist. He has been commissioned to choreograph for an operetta and an opera at CSU. Additionally, his talent has been recognized with all award-winning dances created for fraternities and sororities.
